Art, you are right. The separation of the islands which was existed during your time is now long gone. The very channel or "meuw" which belongs to the people of Iyefang Village and used to be one of the most popular for net fishing at night for the community has gone. Patches of taro and coconut trees were taken over the meuw and this generation now enjoys it as it makes it easier for them to go to Rawaii without getting wet.
